Daniel Garbade, hailing from Zurich and born in 1957, is a multi-talented visual artist recognized for his remarkable skills in photography, painting, drawing, and sculpture. His artistic aspirations were ignited within the realm of advertising and cinema, where he took on pivotal roles as an Art Director and Production Manager. Notably, he partnered with esteemed directors such as Fred Zinnemann and Yves Boisset, cultivating invaluable expertise along the way.
Garbade's talent transcends the world of cinema and has been acknowledged for his artistic abilities by the Dadaists of the Voltaire Cabaret in Zurich. Notably, he was selected to craft the sculpture for the plaque on Michail Bakunin's tomb in Bern. He has contributed to various newspapers and magazines including Dunia, EL PAIS Weekly, Orientations, Signos Magazine (Spain), Zürichsee Zeitung, Die Yacht (Switzerland), Epoca (Mexico), G + J: Gruner + Jahr GmbH & Co, Wochenschau Verlag (Germany), and Mc Graw & Hill (USA).
